Role Purpose:
As a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer you will work closely with the Data & Analytics Squad and will be accountable for the design, development and maintenance of Oracle ODI pipelines and BO implementations.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Work closely with the Product Owner to understand business needs and objectives
- Define appropriate architecture and other technical solutions and make recommendations to Solution Architect
- Support colleagues to identify emerging technologies or applications and consider the opportunity to integrate them into operations and activities
- Responsible for all test & development environments required for project delivery
- Estimate tasks required to complete various development projects including time and resources
- Estimate tasks required to complete various development projects including time and resources
- Promote cooperation and commitment within the team to achieve goals and deliverables
- Own the creation & implementation of the deployment kit and respective documentation
Core competencies and knowledge:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the field of Telecommunications and Information
- Strong knowledge of the following tools: SAP BO, Oracle ODI
- SQL knowledge and tuning skills and Oracle database design
- Experience handling large data sets using SQL and databases in a business environment
- Knowledge in using OLAP technologies and BI Analytics, along with an understanding of different data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts
- Higher education in Computer Science or a related field
