About Our Client

Our client is a big company active in the FMCG sector and is looking for high potential candidates to join their growing teams.

Job Description

As a Transport Planner you will be responsible to manage the transport planning and distribution of the different brands across EMEA.

You'll learn how to understand & synthesize problems in their distribution and develop potential solutions to become more efficient, effective and increase the service level of their customers problems.

Tasks:

• Making sure the company load & deliver on time and providing necessary information about our shipments

• Analyzing data and preparing reports to create visibility for the business

• You will be the coordinator between carriers and the internal teams

• Continuously seeking to optimize our distribution channels to reduce our ecological and economical footprint, while always putting the customers or consumers at the center of what they do

The Successful Applicant

Our client is looking for a Transport Planner that:

• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 
  Is flexible & able to work in a changing & challenging environment
• 
  Has a good level of MS Office (pivot table) and knowledge of SAP, Transporeon/ Mercareon or any other Transportation Management tool is a plus
• 
  Has a Bachelor or Master or equivalent through relevant workexperience
• Is fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
