The shop floor IT Systems Specialist is responsible for the deployment and support of production monitoring systems (inhouse written system called LPBS) in the European seating plants. Works primarily with plant manufacturing and IT teams and with the development team in Mexico.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and Support Production System Launches, Projects, and Efficiencies Launches
- Implement LPBS system on production lines across the EMEA region
- Support change requests from the plants to reconfigure the system to support new requirements
- Respond to incidents when issues are impacting production and provide timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Provide specifications to development for system changes that support the plants growing needs.
- Ensure that the applications are updated in the region regularly to make sure all bug fixes and features are available
- Respond to any tickets in a timely manner to ensure SLAs are met.
- Create documentation to support the end users, and to onboard new team members
- Assist development team to improve LPBS deployment/installation with proper documentation and feedback for the plants
Requirements:
- Strong technical background.
- Experience with software support and deployment
- Knowledge of production processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of PLC functionality and capabilities.
- To be able to formulate logical statements of system computing problems and devising solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies – Windows Server, IIS, SQL server and reporting services.
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
- Basic experience with technical training and technical presentations
- Basic project management experience
- Very good English skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to travel and perform remote support
